In order to ensure the safety and happiness of all of our guests, we require that all prospective dogs participate in a meet and greet prior to staying at Faff’s Furry Friends. We do this to make sure our environment will be a good fit for your dog, and the home-away-from-home experience will be a fun adventure! We are primarily crate-free but are happy to provide crating for young dogs still learning their house manners, if your dog is more comfortable in their crate at bedtime, or at certain times of the day if your dog needs a break. Please contact us to set up a time for a 30-60 minute meet and greet so the dogs get familiar with each other, and I can answer any questions you might have.

Dogs that are not spayed or neutered are welcome at Faff's Furry Friends however, we reserve the right to charge a private boarding fee if there are behavioral issues that would make it more difficult to have other guest dogs, such as extreme humping, alpha posturing, etc. We do NOT accept females in heat.

ALL dogs must be on a leash when they enter and leave Faff’s Furry Friends.

Faff’s Furry Friends provides a cozy, in-home environment for your dog. To keep that homey feel and provide a fun, loving and safe environment, we limit the number of dogs staying at any given time. If you know you need dog care, please make your reservations as soon as possible, especially for major holidays, as we fill up quickly.

Rates are as follows:

• $70 a day for one dog

• $100 a day for two-dog family

• We consider your dog’s departure day as a day in residence

A 50% deposit is required for all reservations.

Current paperwork and vaccination records must be on file for your dog’s stay. Please complete and send via the website or print and bring with you at drop-off.

Major holidays are Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. For these holidays/breaks, a minimum 3 night stay is required/charged.

Non-holiday cancelations- Please let us know as soon as possible to allow another guest to fill the spot. If at least 2 days notice is provided, your deposit will be refunded. For a cancelation with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a one day fee subtracted from the refund.

Holiday cancelations- Planning for travel and dog care is time-sensitive, and it is difficult to fill an unscheduled vacancy—especially at peak times. Unless we are able to fill the guest spot, ANY Holiday/Break reservation cancelation will forfeit the 50% deposit.

All dogs at Faff's Furry Friends must be healthy and free of any contagious illnesses. For the safety of other guest dogs and our dogs, any pet exhibiting symptoms that suggest illness—such as sneezing, coughing, wheezing, runny eyes or nose, vomiting, lethargy, or diarrhea, we cannot allow them to stay. We are happy to provide you with referrals to local veterinarians who board pets.

All guests must be on an active flea and tick preventative. If fleas or ticks are found on a dog, that dog, and all guest dogs, will be bathed at the owner’s expense.

Faff's Furry Friends will provide your dog with any basic medications needed. Please make sure all medication is clearly labeled and dosage instructions are included.

If your pet requires special medical care, please reach out so we can discuss and make sure we are able to provide the necessary care.

Faff's Furry Friends provides soft dog beds, lots of stuffed toys, and plenty of hard chew toys, so unless your pet needs a particular bed or toy, it is recommended you keep the favorite bed or toy safely at home. If a bed or toy is brought to Faff’s Furry Friends, we cannot guarantee it will go home in the same condition.

Faff's Furry Friends hours for drop-off and pick-up are between 8am to 8pm daily. We know travel glitches happen and will work with you to accommodate your schedule, but we reserve the right to add an early/late fee of $25.

Faff's Furry Friends will not release your dog to anyone other than the owner unless prior arrangements have been made.

If your dog is not picked up within 48 hours of the scheduled time and other arrangements have not been made, we will consider your pet abandoned. Faff's Furry Friends will report any abandoned animal immediately and take appropriate action.
